Women's Circles, Sabbats and Workshops
Saturday 1st february:
Learning from the Ancestors: an experiential psychodrama workshop..........Have you ever felt the influence of your heritage? An ancestor or ancestors from long ago who seem to resonate or even have a message for you- a message which may tell you more about what makes you who you are- or even why you are here?
There may be trauma in your ancestry which you feel you still carry in your cells........
In this workshop, we will use the psychodramatic method to explore relationship with the ancestors. Psychodrama is an experiential therapeutic method developed by psychiatrist J.L.Moreno last century. It is a relational method which focuses on self development and development of intimacy and authenticity. It does not require for you to be an actor.... just bring your authentic self.
This workshop may enliven you if you are curious about your ancestry, or if you are a health professional working with clients who have ancestral issues arise. Be prepared to bring forward as much of yourself as is comfortable in a safe and held environment.
The group is small, so numbers are limited. It will be held in Katoomba.
COST: Early Bird Paid in full prior to 12th January 2020: $95 (plus GST if claiming for professional development). $115 (plus GST if applicable) paid in full after 12th January.

CELEBRATING AND DIPPING INTO THE WISDOM AND NOURISHMENT OF THE GRANDMOTHERS
Lammas (or you may have heard it called Lughnasad) is the moment on the wheel of the year which marks the returning dark. It is the time of the first harvest, and traditionally a time of communities gathering to celebrate the harvest. This is the moment when we remember that we are more than individual, we are interconnected, part of the whole, we are but one.
The actual Lammas moment in 2020 is on Tuesday February 4th at 19.55 AEDT. We will come together 2 days prior to this moment.
At this time we create ceremony of the harvest. We work with the Irish Goddess Airmid- traditionally the Goddess of herbal medicine.. In the Celtic Tree Ogham we work with the Apple tree- she who is abundance- apples are given as symbols of love, trust and immortality.
This Grandmother's Well Circle will be held in Katoomba at HerSpace: a Sacred space for women's circles near Minnihaha on 2nd February from 1pm to 5pm. Please let us know if you plan to attend by clicking on this event AND sending a PM with your email address and confirmation of your intention to attend.
Cost is $25. Some crafting materials will be provided and some afternoon tea. Please bring along your own crafting as well. You may wish to dress in the colours of Lammas...... black for the growing darkness and the colours of apple- red and green....
Co-celebrants will be Cailleach and Liz
